the panic at the disco show wasn’t all that, or a bag of chips. i, for about a minute, seriously considered writing my rft review with a decidedly negative slant (dudes have been touring for almost three years straight and still can’t pull together a dec live show? what?) and calling it: panic at the disco: still so young & desperate for attention. that is how much i was unhappy with the show.
but of course that is NOT what i am going to do, b/c (1.) i would never do that, and (2.) i wouldn’t want to deal with the fallout.
and anyway they get a free pass for playing “i constantly thank god for esteban” which is easily my favorite panic song. they slowed it down, added in a way heavier bassline, and it was pretty awesome.
this photo was taken while i was sitting in the bar attached to the pageant, drinking a corona, and reading the last bits of a place of execution by val mcdermid. i saw the plot twist coming a mile away, and was more focused on the roadie girl’s cute pink luggage.
