octette

jonathon and jozelle spent the weekend with me here. we went all over the place somehow without actually doing anything. although there was the point where we went to target for a fan, and ended up with a bracelet making kit for 8 year olds, and guitar hero 3. jon spent the rest of the weekend playing guitar hero 3, and did an excellent job. meanwhile, jozelle and i spent the whole time knitting, which was also excellent.

then there was the point where i showed them both the music video for "the ghost of you" — then i had nightmares about it.

sunday was also the day i somehow got us lost going in almost a straight line by getting off at the wrong exit on the highway, but eventually we did get to dewey’s in u-city, find a parking spot, and meet up with chris, fiona, tammie, elizabeth, and children, for the best pizza i’ve had since coming to st louis. well, to be fair, i had a calzone — but it was crust, sauce, and cheese, so it counts.
