octette

jozelle is knitting a bag out of yarn that is mardi gras colored. this is the bottom of the bag. she is trying to make it really big so that even once it’s felted, it’s big.

ate toast with tammie’s homemade jam for breakfast, potato salad for lunch, and a bagel for supper. paid the rent.

worked on clapotis — but, actually, did a lot of work on the pink and orange sweater. another twenty rows and i’ll be doing the finishing. i’m thinking about making a pair of gloves out of the leftover yarn. i’ve made fingerless gloves, and arm warmers, but i’ve never just made a pair of gloves. i’m not sure that dk weight yarn is really the yarn i want to be using for that, plus who really needs silk/wool gloves? but i might give it a shot anyway.

this morning we watched resident evil: extinction and this afternoon we watched terminator 2. jozelle has never seen due south, so tonight we’re going to watch that. oh, ray kowalski.
