this is a picture of me spinning yarn on a drop spindle that i made using a cd, some tape, and a dowel. it is fucking hard, and totally unsatisfying, and i find myself wondering if spinning using a wheel would be nicer. on one hand, i bet it would be. on the other hand, a spinning wheel would run me about $400, and i really doubt that it would be nice enough to justify spending that much money on what is basically just my hobby.
i would not hesitate ever to drop $400 on a tattoo though.
except for right now i’m trying to save money, not spend it. maybe if i knew i had a job for the next few months, i’d spend the money, but i guess i am being an adult. being an adult is hard.
in conclusion, even though i ate a burrito three hours ago, i’d really like some more food. chris and tammie and fiona are going to get indian food in, like, an hour, and i’m thinking i might go with them, because it would be delicious. masala tea and some kind of spinach, rice, bread. yum.
