the cats always refused to eat any wet food that wasn’t fancy feast, so i bought the fancy feast and fed it to them a couple of times each week, as a treat. for my mother, they eat the cheapo wet food, and she feeds it to them every night. i can’t believe they eat the cheap stuff for her. even vincent, who turns his nose up at freaking everything.
i spent most of today job hunting. it’s really disheartening. i kind of don’t want to talk about it at all, actually.
other things i did today include spinning more of the silk — i am finished with about half the ounce, and considering winding off what i’ve got so that the spindle stays light. i think one of the keys to getting a consistent yarn is keeping the spindle weight consistent, which i have a hard time doing because i hate winding the yarn off the spindle.
oh, and i made veg soup with matzo balls. my mother is going to be home from work soon, and hopefully it will be finished by then.
