how is zappos the best shoe company ever?
these are, like, a half-inch too long, but if i go a half-size smaller, they won’t be wide enough (and they are double-wide!) — all of these years of wearing only flip-flops and birkenstocks are catching up with me.
these are nice, though, right?
problems: i have only been wearing them for fifteen minutes, but omg whyyyyyyyyy are my toes all covered up and in socks? life is so hard sometimes. the arches are too low, and the shoes are tight over my instep. but. i am going to keep them anyway, i think, because i need a pair of shoes that look like this, and ultimately they are actually pretty decently comfortable. i mean. for shoes. and socks.
