i had a lovely lazy sunday lying around reading knitting blogs and drinking coffee. shira & i went out for supper — i had sushi, yum yum — and now we’re back at her apartment with diana, eating cupcakes and watching L.A. Law.

2008 05 04 – shira ices cupcakes!

shira & i made 2 dozen cupcakes. there are 9 left, & i have no idea what to do with them. we iced them with neon-colored icing. i did a lot of pink & orange swirls, while shira made actual designs using a pastry bag & two different tips!

today shira and i drank a lot of coffee and worked and ate waffles and went out for manicures. shira got tips for the first time, and although they were later cut down to a very short length, for a while she looked like a dragon.

shira in her delightful flapper hat. we were at the office until 8pm tonight, and it was exhausting, but she still manages to look cute! i just look tired. maybe it is the magical hat.
